Trauma-Informed Therapy
Our planned model centers safety, dignity, and choice while supporting people affected by trauma, PTSD symptoms, grief, substance use, and life disruption.
Coming Soon · Rural Tennessee · Opening 2027
Greenwood Haven is being built as a peaceful 40-bed recovery center within an hour of Nashville. Our vision is to create a restorative environment where people can step away from survival mode, reconnect with the body and mind, and begin healing the root causes of addiction, trauma, PTSD, and emotional pain, with planned Ibogaine treatment for addiction and PTSD pending approval.
Greenwood Haven is a future non-profit holistic recovery center located in rural Tennessee, within an hour of Nashville. Opening in 2027, we are building a peaceful 40-bed facility focused on true, lasting recovery from addiction, PTSD, and trauma. Greenwood Haven also plans to include Ibogaine treatment for addiction and PTSD, pending all required approvals, licensing, medical oversight, and legal authorization.
Our approach goes beyond traditional treatment by focusing on the root causes of pain and the practical supports needed for long-term wellness. The future campus is being designed around trauma-informed therapy, organic gardens, animal-assisted therapy, fitness programs, sports courts, a gym, hiking trails, and quiet spaces for reflection, rebuilding, and hope.
Recovery is not only about stopping harmful patterns; it is also about rebuilding safety, purpose, connection, and daily rhythms that make healing possible. Greenwood Haven is being developed to support the whole person: mind, body, spirit, family, community, and future.
Our planned model centers safety, dignity, and choice while supporting people affected by trauma, PTSD symptoms, grief, substance use, and life disruption.
Organic gardens, rural surroundings, hiking trails, and outdoor spaces are part of the vision for a restorative setting that encourages calm, grounding, and renewal.
Fitness programs, sports courts, and a gym are planned to help residents rebuild strength, healthy routines, confidence, and embodied resilience.
Animal-assisted therapy is part of the future care environment because connection, responsibility, and gentleness can support emotional regulation and trust.
Greenwood Haven is being built as a haven, not an institution: a place where people can feel seen, supported, and encouraged as they move toward recovery.
The goal is to help residents prepare for life after treatment with practical wellness habits, emotional tools, relational support, and renewed direction.
Greenwood Haven is being envisioned as a phased non-profit healing campus in rural Tennessee, with each stage focused on a specific community need while preserving the same whole-person, trauma-informed model of care.
The first stage will focus on a 40-bed rehabilitation center for addiction recovery, built around safety, stabilization, holistic support, and long-term renewal.
The second phase will focus on a 40-bedroom PTSD treatment center for veterans, providing a restorative setting for trauma healing, resilience, and whole-person recovery.
The third phase will focus on a 40-bed treatment center for abused and trafficked women and other people suffering from trauma, with compassionate care designed for dignity, safety, and healing.
The Greenwood Haven campus is envisioned as a quiet, supportive, and highly intentional recovery environment. Every feature is being considered through the lens of healing trauma, supporting substance use recovery, and restoring hope.
Greenwood Haven follows the evolving conversation around trauma, PTSD, substance use disorders, Ibogaine research, and emerging treatment models with care and responsibility. Pending approval, Greenwood Haven plans to include Ibogaine treatment for addiction and PTSD as part of a medically supervised, legally compliant, trauma-informed recovery model. Our language is intentional: Greenwood Haven is not announcing that any unapproved treatment is currently available. The purpose of this coming soon page is to share our future mission, values, and interest in evidence-informed healing.
Important note: Any future Ibogaine-related services, clinical services, therapies, or treatment offerings will be offered only if and when permitted by applicable approvals, law, medical oversight, safety standards, licensing requirements, and evidence-based practice. If you or someone you love is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
We are preparing for a 2027 opening and welcome early inquiries from families, community partners, supporters, and people who believe in compassionate, trauma-informed recovery.
We plan to accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most major insurance.
